Overview

Serving on a nonprofit board can present unique challenges and may require a different skillset from those required in other sectors. GCN’s membership team invites those working with or serving on nonprofit boards to join us for this lively crash course on the fundamentals of nonprofit board service. Our discussion will cover basic legal and fiduciary responsibilities, key annual obligations, expectations around fundraising, roles and responsibilities, and the latest trends and challenges facing nonprofit boards.

Audience

This session is for board members and staff who work with boards of GCN member organizations. Member dues must be current when the session takes place to receive access.
