Volunteering and service play a vital role in helping our communities thrive, but what it takes to engage volunteers has changed dramatically over the past several years. Join us to discuss trends in volunteering and service and to consider new ways for connecting with people who care about your mission.
In this session, a panel of seasoned community engagement leaders – experienced in volunteering, service, corporate social responsibility, and community engagement – will share insights into the trends that are affecting how and why people volunteer. We will cover everything from societal trends to workplace disruption to shifts in human nature, and demonstrate how each are making an impact on volunteer morale. Participants will leave the session with ready-to-implement ideas for re-invigorating individual volunteers and corporate groups.
This session is for staff and board members of GCN member organizations. Member dues must be current when the session takes place to receive access.
