Overview

Serving on a nonprofit board can present unique opportunities and challenges for leaders with experience in other sectors. In this session, the Georgia Center for Nonprofits offers our members a thorough overview on the fundamentals of nonprofit board service, which can help jump-start your new or existing board.

Those working with or serving on nonprofit boards are encouraged to join us for this discussion, which will cover basic legal and fiduciary responsibilities, key annual obligations, expectations around fundraising, roles and responsibilities, and the latest trends and challenges facing nonprofit boards.

Audience

This session is for board members and staff of GCN member organizations. Member dues must be current when the session takes place to receive access.
