Nonprofit University Certificate Series Scholarship: $250
NU certificates are multi-part training series, available for a wide variety of nonprofit competencies: management and leadership, marketing and communications, human resources, fundraising, finance and accounting, and much more. This scholarship covers up to 50 percent of the individual registration fee for one certificate series; regular member fees for certificates currently range from $275 to $350.
Nonprofit University Individual Course Scholarship: $50
Individual NU courses, including solo classes and those that belong to a certificate series, cover an incredible volume of diverse and essential topics like theory of change, data-driven fundraising, emotional intelligence, finance for the nonfinancial, hiring right, internal communications, and more. This scholarship covers two-thirds of the individual registration fee for one class; member fees for individual courses are currently $75 per course.
To be considered for a Wells Fargo scholarship, you must:
1. Be an active staff or board member of an organization with a GCN membership, and/or have an active individual GCN membership; and
2. Commit to participating in your chosen program within the 2020 calendar year by registering on or before September 30th.
Scholarship applications are due by 11:59 pm on Friday, August 28, 2020.
Other important dates
Scholarship recipients will be notified via email by September 4, 2020.
You have until September 30, 2020 to register for your awarded program.
Scholarship recipients must attend selected programs between August 31 and December 31, 2020.
Funds must be redeemed by December 31, 2020.
Applications will be reviewed by a panel of experts. Decisions will be based on eligibility requirements and funds available for each program. Awards will be scaled to ensure scholarships support a diverse range of organization sizes (as determined by budget) and subsectors (as determined by cause area).
