Overview

Get Centered is a virtual offering from GCN designed to help professionals strengthen the wellbeing skills that support success at work. These sessions combine practical strategies with opportunities for peer connection, giving you tools you can immediately apply in your professional life.

This session, titled “From Burnout to Balance: Sustaining the Work without Self-Sacrifice,” will help you to:

  • Understand the science of burnout
  • Identify what burnout looks like in nonprofit work.
  • Recognize early signs of burnout in yourself and your teams
  • Learn practical tools to support well-being
  • Explore small, substantial changes that make your work possible long-term

Exclusively for GCN members, each Get Centered session will explore different aspects of well-being, offering fresh ideas and practices that can be adapted to your unique context. By participating, you’ll gain actionable techniques, learn from the experiences of others, and join a supportive community committed to integrating well-being into everyday professional practice.

Note: Member dues must be current when the session takes place to receive access.
