Overview

Take a final deep dive into the live campaign period, with a focus on optimizing your email, social, and text communications to mobilize and equip your supporters to give, fundraise on your behalf, and help spread the word. Participants will identify key audience segments, as well as the most likely “cause ambassadors” to amplify their campaign, and create a post-campaign analysis report to ensure a data-informed, strategic approach to future online fundraising.

In-class activities include peer reviews of fundraising copy, developing donor segments, and preparing a post-campaign report.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Apply best practices for email and social fundraising copy.
  • Define key donor and audience segments for your campaign.
  • Create a post-campaign analysis report to inform future fundraising.

Audience

Team members who engage with fundraising, especially from individuals, including:

  • Fundraising and development staff
  • Marketing/communications staff
  • Senior leadership
  • Board members, especially those serving on fundraising committees
