The landscape of federal funding compliance is shifting and proactively managing the associated risks is essential to preserving these funding sources and sustaining your mission and impact.
While nonprofits receiving direct funding from federal agencies are subjected to new requirements, many others will be impacted indirectly. Funds passed through states or community agencies may be subjected to new compliance guidelines. Even sponsorships and grants from corporate partners or other private sources could be impacted, as they are managing risks subject to their own compliance obligations.
GCN is providing three new opportunities for nonprofit leaders and stakeholders to understand what’s changing and how they can respond. GCN CEO Karen Beavor will be joined by Arnall Golden Gregory Partner Megan P. Mitchell for an overview of the changing requirements and ways nonprofits can assess, adapt, and maintain funding.
You’ll come away with heightened awareness of your compliance obligations, your organization’s key risk areas, and information to help you create a plan to shore up your practices. Participants will receive a Compliance Risk Assessment Tool and Planning Guide to facilitate next steps.
This 45-minute virtual program is offered at no cost and is open to all nonprofits.
This program is a consolidated version of the content offered previously in July and August. The same information and resources are shared in each instance. Participants are welcome to attend multiple sessions. All sessions will take place via Zoom.
All attendees are encouraged to contact our membership team with any questions at membership@GCN.org or 678-916-3019.
