With over 20 years of combined experience in higher education and the nonprofit sector, she has consistently demonstrated her expertise in creating and enhancing finance and business operations within the organizations she has served.
Paula’s career commenced in New York as an auditor specializing in nonprofit, education, and government audits, progressing into leadership roles encompassing finance, administration, human resources, and information technology.
Paula’s educational qualifications include an MBA from Emory Goizueta Business School, a Juris Master from Emory School of Law, and a master’s degree in nonprofit finance from the esteemed New School University. She also holds a Green Belt in Six Sigma along with a Certificate in Evaluation and Assessment Methods.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Paula is a dedicated volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), advocating for services benefiting children in foster care. Additionally, she actively contributes to the empowerment of young adults by teaching financial literacy, equipping them with invaluable skills for future success.
