About Caryn
Caryn I. Anderson, APR, is a culturally fluent interdisciplinary marketing communications leader. She has spent the last decade examining the drivers that spark stakeholder action in the social impact sector – around social causes, advocacy issues, and mass public efforts. As principal consultant and managing director of stakeholderbrand co., Caryn supports social impact leaders in elevating organizational influence, leveraging her expertise in brand strategy, storytelling, and public relations to create narratives that catalyze influence and get people to move around social good.
Before founding stakeholderbrand co., Caryn worked in-house for over 20 years, providing the vision and strategic direction required to guide brand communication and manage audience engagement for government agencies, major corporations, and global nonprofits, including Operation HOPE, where she served as Senior Vice President of Marketing Communications.
Caryn is a graduate of the Nonprofit Leadership program at the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship – Carroll School of Management, Gonzaga University (MA in Communication Management and Leadership), and Clark Atlanta University (BA in Mass Media Arts – Journalism concentration). She also holds the Accredited in Public Relations designation earned by senior communications practitioners. Caryn has been acknowledged throughout her career for her strategic and creative contributions (AdAge Collective, Public Relations Society of America) and for launching successful campaigns that enhance brand value, amplify awareness, and build public trust.
