Visiting GCN

GCN is located in Reynoldstown on the ground floor of the A&P Lofts, which sits at the corner of Memorial Dr. SE and Chester Ave. SE, adjacent to the Atlanta Dairies complex and the Madison Yards shopping center.

Office visits are by appointment only (including those registered for in-person events).

Our entrance is located at the back of the building, at the intersection of Old Flat Shoals Rd and Chester Ave.

Note: The A&P Lofts building is secured at every entrance, so please be sure to review the Building Access section below.

Building Access

Building access instructions, including a gate code, will be provided when you register for a program or schedule a meeting via email. Below, find additional parking and access information. Please note that we do not accept walk-ins.

Our office is located at the back of the building, which is accessible from the rear parking lot of the A&P Lofts, located off of Chester Avenue SE at the intersection of Old Flat Shoals Rd and Chester Ave. (See the map and photos below.)

Enter the lot using the pedestrian gate. (As stated above, you will receive a gate code ahead of your scheduled event or meeting time.)

Once inside the lot, follow the signs to our offices. Our entrance is located under the black awning. You’ll need to either climb a short flight of stairs or ascend a ramp to reach the door.

Parking

GCN has limited on-site parking reserved for those with mobility challenges (click for info). Please do not attempt to park in the visitor spaces or any numbered spaces at 881 Memorial Drive; this lot is reserved for loft residents, and a towing/booting policy is strictly enforced.

There are a number of parking decks and some street parking options near 881 Memorial Dr. Below, find instructions from the nearest pay parking deck, located at Atlanta Dairies.

  • Walking directions to 881 Memorial Drive:
    • Head north toward Memorial Drive.
    • Turn right on Memorial Drive and cross over Chester Avenue.
    • After crossing the intersection, turn right on Chester Avenue. The A&P Lofts building is the building on your left.
    • Walk to the rear of the building to find the GCN entrance. (See photos above.)

Transit Options

Rideshare

This is a great option for commuting to GCN! You can ask your driver to enter “Georgia Center for Nonprofits” into their GPS, and they will be directed to drop you at our access gate, located at the corner of Old Flat Shoals Rd. and Chester Ave. (See photos above.)

Beltline

GCN’s office is located just off the Atlanta BeltLine’s Memorial Drive Access Point. Note that the BeltLine trail is not ADA accessible at this location.

MARTA

When using MARTA, the most direct route available is by taking the train to the Georgia State Station and boarding the 21 Bus on the corner of Memorial Dr. and Martin St. SE, a short walk (6 minutes) from the train station. Use this Google Map for guidance, along with the following steps:

  • Take the MARTA train to the Georgia State Station.
  • Walk one block south on Jesse Hill Jr. Dr. and cross to the south side of MLK Jr. Dr. This walk will take approximately 6 minutes.
  • Take a left and walk across the bridge to Martin St. Take a right on Martin St. and walk one block. Cross to the south side of Memorial Dr.
  • Board the 21 Bus (headed east). The 21 Bus will take approximately 8 minutes to get to the stop at Bill Kennedy Way.
  • Exit at Bill Kennedy Way, and the A&P Lofts will be directly in front of you.
  • Turn to your right and walk to the corner of Chester Ave.
  • Turn left on Chester Ave. and walk to the rear of the building to find the GCN entrance. (See photos above.)

ADA & Accessibility

GCN is located in the historic A&P Lofts building in Reynoldstown. While our facility is ADA compliant, please note that, as a former industrial space, there are some uneven floors and thresholds.

When you register for a program or schedule a meeting with our team, please notify us of any accommodation requests, and we will work with you to best meet those needs. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • On-site parking
  • ADA access into the building and suite
  • Accommodations for other mobility challenges

Parking Directions

The 100 Peachtree building’s security protocols specify that guests cannot enter through the rear building entrance (Forysth Street). When you approach the building, you will have to use the front entrance (Peachtree Street) and check in at the security desk to access the elevators to the 15th floor.

Parking is available at a variety of surface and street lots in the immediate area. Parking fees and hours vary.

MARTA  Take any train line to Five Points Station and transfer to the 21 bus line to Memorial Dr & Bill Kennedy Way, which is directly across the street from our building. You can plan your MARTA route here.
