Esri is offering GCN members exclusive, complimentary access to our in-person meetup at GCN headquarters on November 13, 2025. Learn how web-based maps, spatial analytics, and access to over 15,000 demographic datasets can help you modernize your organization’s operations.
This is your chance to:
Esri is the global leader in geographic information system (GIS) technology, helping nonprofits visualize data, improve decision-making, and maximize impact. Since 1969, Esri has supported nonprofits with geospatial tools and solutions with discounted pricing. To learn more about how Esri serve nonprofits, read their brochure.
Emily Swenson is the Nonprofit Program Manager at Esri, where she helps nonprofit organizations to use GIS and spatial analysis to understand the ways that people and place shape one another. She believes that harnessing this understanding will allow us to take action (and use maps!) to challenge inequities, effect policy change and engage our communities. Through the Nonprofit Program, Emily’s team has supported over 17,000 organizations around the word. Prior to joining Esri, Emily received a BA in Geography and Environmental Studies from UW-Madison and graduate certificate in Geospatial Information Systems from Penn State and held GIS roles in the public and nonprofit sectors.
Due to a system update, you may encounter a pop-up blocker while registering for upcoming programs. To be sure your registration processes correctly, please be sure your browser allows pop-ups for the GCN Portal. Click here for instructions.
