FAC 110 | Facility Condition Assessment

Examining your facility is the important first step in Facility Management.  Analyzing your building and grounds using a Facility Condition Assessment Worksheet will enable you to identify the condition of every aspect of your facility and set priorities for renovation and repair.  With this information, you are able to establish short-term needs and long-term goals.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

At the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Explain the importance of assessing the condition of your facility.
  • Assess the condition of your facility with the help of a worksheet.
  • Use the Facility Condition Assessment to establish your facility goals.

Faculty Bios

Lyle D Gladney, CFM is a Customer Business Manager, with Johnson Controls. Lyle began with Johnson in February of 1999 and has managed operations in a variety of markets including detention, government, research and development and class A office facilities. Lyle received a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University and holds the Facility Manager Professional designation and the Certified Facility Manager certification from the International Facility Management Association.
