Though the roles and functions of boards can vary, one constant is the expectation to fundraise for your organization. This session takes a deeper dive into the fundraising role of board members and equips you to set up a strategy to engage 100 percent of your board in the process.  

We’ll review policies and practices that get boards contributing, including the three levels of board giving and how to engage members in them. We will also cover the fundamentals of peer-to-peer fundraising, which equips everyone – not just the few with “connections” – to meet their fundraising goals. 

This session will cover basic board roles and responsibilities before taking a deeper dive into a facilitated discussion. Bring your questions, comments, and ideas, and be ready to share and learn from each other! 


This session is for Board Members & Staff who work with Boards of GCN member organizations. Member dues must be current when the session takes place to receive access.
