Overview

How can you tell if your board is engaged? They’re active in strategic planning, meeting their fundraising goals, attending meetings and events, and have a solid succession plan. Unfortunately, many board members disengage from board service when they don’t have clarity regarding roles, purpose, and expectations, or when they aren’t provided the resources to feel successful and appreciated for their contributions.  

In this member-exclusive session, we’ll look at the factors that can contribute to board member disengagement and identify strategies that can help ensure everyone on your board stays connected and attentive to your mission. We will also cover best practices for sharing the information and materials that board members need to achieve a successful tenure with your organization.

Audience

This session is for board members and staff of GCN member organizations. Member dues must be current when the session takes place to receive access.
