Overview

In its report State of Nonprofits 2024: What Funders Need to Know, the Center for Effective Philanthropy noted that 95 percent of leaders surveyed cited burnout as a concern. Nonprofit professionals are chronically challenged to do more with less, leading to stress and negative impacts on their wellness. For nonprofit leaders, this often results in decreased motivation within their team and avoidable staff turnover.

The new year provides an opportunity for leaders to implement strategies that retain their high-performing professionals by reducing overwhelm and lessening the impact of stress. In this program, Kerry Toolan, Principal of consulting firm All Points Ahead, will use stories and solutions based in her decades of experience to equip attendees to avoid burnout “traps” and develop thriving teams!
