Toolbox for Education

Now in its 11th year of helping build better schools and communities, the Lowe's Toolbox for Education program has provided over $49 million to more than 11,000 schools across the country. This year LCEF is seeking ways to provide the tools to help educators and parent groups through educational challenges by providing the greatest impact, with basic necessities being the priority.
Border Bash Foundation Grant
Deadline: September 30, 2016
Border Bash Foundation, Inc., itself a 501(c)(3) organization, uses the money raised by the annual Border Bash event to benefit other area 501(c)(3) organizations focused on positively impacting children. Since its inception, Border Bash has donated over $600,000 to various charities with grants ranging in amount from $2,500 to $7,500.
St. Joseph Foundation Grant
Deadline: December 31, 2016
The St. Joseph Foundations resources come from gifts made by individuals, companies, foundations and charitable organizations. These gifts are used to create charitable funds, which provide resources for grant making and help make a positive difference in the community.
The Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta
Deadline: November 1, 2016
The Nonprofit Toolbox is a program of the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta that provides nonprofit organizations with tools to strengthen their management, governance and operations. Most Nonprofit Toolbox awards are not financial grants; they are custom-designed management consulting packages to help solve a key organizational challenge or problem. Organizations selected to receive a Nonprofit Toolbox award will work with a specialist who will construct a package of appropriate organizational assistance.

The Fulton DeKalb Hospital Authority (owner of Grady Health System) invites you to their Community Health Awareness and Prevention Office Partnerships Grants Launch on September 22, 2016 to see the updated and revised requirements for their grants (formerly known as Community Health Awareness Grants – Long Term Grants), learn more about our short term grant funding and community engagement opportunities.
The official application opens on October 1, 2016; however, attendees of the Partnership Grant Launch will receive the application at the conclusion of the event.
