Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta
Frances Hollis Brain Foundation Fund
Deadline: April 2, 2018

The Frances Hollis Brain Foundation Fund supports nonprofits that address the primary needs (food, shelter, clothing, and healthcare) of individuals and families living in metro Atlanta, with priority given to organizations working in Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett counties. Grants range from $5,000-$10,000 for each 12-month period.

National Endowment for the Arts
Challenge America
Deadline: April 12, 2018

Through the Challenge America grants program, the National Endowment for the Arts will award fixed grants of $10,000 to projects designed to extend the reach of the arts to underserved populations. Applicants are encouraged to consider partnerships with other organizations, both in and outside the arts, as appropriate to their project.

2018 Grants

Literacy For All will provide grants to eligible organizations to support the implementation of new and existing programs, projects or efforts that address family literacy from a multigenerational perspective (multigenerational approach not required in summer and after school setting but still preferred).

A Place to Perform
Deadline: April 20, 2018

A Place to Perform provides grants to nonprofit arts organizations seeking to secure performance space and facilities for public art experiences. The program is designed to help nonprofit arts organizations that lack adequate performance space for a particular production. Priority will be given to organizations that lack their own primary performance space.

The Bee Foundation
Brain Aneurysm Research Grant
Deadline: April 20, 2018

The Bee Foundation (TBF) invites proposals for this brain aneurysm research grant that further the mission of reducing the number of deaths caused by brain aneurysms. This program encourages research proposals focused on a variety of disciplines, including but not limited to translational neurosciences, neurosurgery, neurology and radiology. Proposals directed at understanding the early detection, pathophysiology, genetic predisposition or treatment will take priority.

Voya Financial
Voya Unsung Heroes
Deadline:  April 30, 2018

The Voya Unsung Heroes program distributes grants annually to K-12 educators who employ new teaching methods and techniques that enhance learning. One hundred finalists will receive a grant of $2,000 each, payable to both the winning teacher and his or her school. At least one grant will be awarded in each of the fifty states, provided at least one qualified application is received from each.
