The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta
Nonprofit Scholarships
Deadline: Rolling
Nonprofit professionals may apply for scholarships through The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta to cover the cost of trainings, workshops and conferences for selected program. GCN's Nonprofit University has many selections that are available at no cost through these scholarships.

Strategic Restructuring Fund
Deadline: June 12, 2015
The purpose of the Strategic Restructuring Fund is to provide funds and/or management consulting services to support nonprofits as they assess, negotiate, design and/or implement substantive strategic restructuring efforts that seek to promote more effective operations and high-performing programs based on community needs and assets.

The Home Depot Foundation
Veteran Housing Grants
Deadline: June 23, 2015
The Home Depot Foundation’s (THDF) Veteran Housing Grants Program awards grants to nonprofit organizations for the development and repair of veterans housing. To date, the Foundation has awarded nearly $80 million, and has helped impact over 12,000 units of housing for veterans. Awards typically range from $100,000 to $500,000.

Grants for Grassroots Environmental Campaigns
Deadline: August 31, 2015
Patagonia's environmental grant program supports small, grassroots activist organizations that have provocative direct-action agendas and are working on multi-pronged campaigns to preserve and protect the environment. Grants of up to $12,000 will be awarded for projects that are action-oriented, build public involvement and support, focus on root causes, and demonstrate a commitment to long-term change.

Captain Planet Foundation
Environmental Education Grants
Deadline: September 30, 2015
GCN member Captain Planet Foundation offers grants, intended to serve as a means of bringing environment-based education to schools and inspiring youth and communities to participate in community service through environmental stewardship activities. The foundation will fund unique and innovative projects that do not precisely match the grant guidelines but otherwise promote the foundation’s mission to advance hands-on environmental activities.
