The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta
Nonprofit Scholarships
Deadline: Rolling
Nonprofit professionals may apply for scholarships through The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta to cover the cost of trainings, workshops and conferences for selected program. GCN's Nonprofit University has many selections that are available at no cost through these scholarships.

Best Buy
Grants to Establish Teen Tech Centers
Deadline: August 15, 2015

TEGNA Foundation
Community Grants
Deadline: August 29, 2015
The TEGNA Foundation supports local organizations in communities served by TEGNA Inc., including Georgia. The Foundation's community action grant priorities include education and neighborhood improvement, economic development, youth development, community problem-solving, assistance to disadvantaged people, environmental conservation and cultural enrichment. The average grant amount is in the $1,000 to $5,000 range.

Patagonia
Grants for Grassroots Environmental Campaigns
Deadline: August 31, 2015
Patagonia's environmental grant program supports small, grassroots activist organizations that have provocative direct-action agendas and are working on multi-pronged campaigns to preserve and protect the environment. Grants of up to $12,000 will be awarded for projects that are action-oriented, build public involvement and support, focus on root causes, and demonstrate a commitment to long-term change.

Captain Planet Foundation
Environmental Education Grants
Deadline: September 30, 2015
GCN member Captain Planet Foundation offers grants, intended to serve as a means of bringing environment-based education to schools and inspiring youth and communities to participate in community service through environmental stewardship activities. The foundation will fund unique and innovative projects that do not precisely match the grant guidelines but otherwise promote the foundation’s mission to advance hands-on environmental activities.

The Home Depot Foundation
Community Impact Grants
Deadline: Rolling
Grants, up to $5,000, are available to IRS-registered 501c designated organizations and tax-exempt public service agencies in the U.S. that are using the power of volunteers to improve the physical health of their community. Grants are given in the form of The Home Depot gift cards for the purchase of tools, materials, or services.
