One key element of LEAD Atlanta is the Cohort Project, which allows the class to explore their personal leadership skills while collaborating in teams to impact a community issue. LEAD Atlanta seeks to partner with 7-9 area nonprofit organizations. Each selected organization will benefit from a project that an 8-10 member team of the LEAD Atlanta class can complete within approximately 16 collective hours of work.
2014 National Conference Scholarships

Scholarships to attend the 2014 Independent Sector National Conference are available to local and national attendees, with a particular emphasis on leaders of small and medium-sized nonprofits whose missions relate to advancing the common good.

The Nonprofit Loan Fund helps nonprofits in the 23-county service area meet short-term funding needs by providing bridge loans, geared toward funding stability.
Community Playground Grants
Selected community groups will work with a project manager who will lead playground construction activities as well as coordinate equipment and material purchases for the project.

The Culture of Health Prize is an annual program which honors outstanding community efforts and partnerships that are helping people live healthier lives.
