YNPN Atlanta

Opportunity Grants
Deadline: January 31, 2015 (for this cycle)
The Atlanta chapter of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network awards grants of up to $750 to their current members for professional development opportunities, such as conference attendance, class fees, membership to professional associations, and more. Not a member of YNPN? You may join for only $35 per year.


2015 Technology Innovation Award
Deadline: February 2, 2015
The Award, given by Accenture, will be granted to a deserving Georgia nonprofit with an innovative concept for using technology to better serve the community.  If you (or a nonprofit with which you work) have a compelling vision for a technology project that your organization would like to implement, TechBridge wants to hear from you. The winner will receive up to $30,000 in TechBridge consulting services and cash and thousands of dollars in donated software; two finalists each receive a TechBridge technology assessment and a $1,000 cash grant.

DoGooder Video Awards
Deadline: February 8, 2015
If you are an organization or individual using sight, sound and motion to educate and engage for a cause, the DoGooder National Awards wants to see what you’ve got! Submit under any of the following categories: Best Nonprofit Video Award; ImpactX Award; and Funny for Good Award.


GCN and The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation
Westside Momentum
Deadline: February 13, 2015
GCN and Blank Foundation are partnering to bring Momentum, a three-year capacity building model for nonprofits, to Atlanta’s Historic Westside neighborhoods. We welcome nonprofits based in or providing service to Castleberry Hill, English Avenue and Vine City areas to apply for this program, fully funded by Blank Foundation and provided by GCN.


The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta
An Extra Wish
Deadline: February 20, 2015
These grants are awarded to assist organizations with smaller items that don’t find into a traditional funding stream, matching the “wishes” of a nonprofit with donors interested in making a contribution. Whether it’s a new phone system, a copier, MARTA Breeze cards or gift cards, these gifts make a big difference.


The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta
Strategic Restructuring Fund
Deadline: March 6, 2015
The purpose of the Strategic Restructuring Fund is to provide funds and/or management consulting services to support nonprofits as they assess, negotiate, design and/or implement substantive strategic restructuring efforts that seek to promote more effective operations and high-performing programs based on community needs and assets.


ArtPlace America
Community Development Investments
Deadline: March 12, 2015
ArtPlace will select one organization in each of six regions that is interested in sustainably incorporating arts and cultural strategies into the organization’s work, providing up to $3 million in funding per organization.


Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta
Neighborhood Fund
Deadline: March 13, 2015
Neighborhood Fund provides resources to community groups (non-501(c)3) seeking to impact their community at the local level. Since 1991, more than 300 neighborhood projects have received an estimated $2,000,000 in grants and technical assistance to support community organizing, neighborhood gardens, youth fitness activities, cultural events and more.
