Purple Communications, Inc.
Purple Tech Grant
Deadline: March 1, 2017

Purple Communications, Inc., seeks to fund four Purple Tech Grants up to $2000 for teachers and schools in the education and achievement of deaf and hard of hearing students. The funds can be used for with hardware or software. Full-time teachers at Deaf residential schools, day schools for the Deaf or mainstream programs that serve Deaf/hard-of-hearing students are eligible to apply.

The Captain Planet Foundation
ecoTECH Grants
Deadline: March 15, 2017

This grant program provides grant awards of up to $2,500 to support schools or nonprofits that engage children in inquiry-based, STEM-related projects that leverage technology and/or use nature-based design to address environmental problems in local communities. 

United States Conference of Mayors and Wells Fargo Foundation
CommunityWINS Grant Program
Deadline: March 17, 2017

The CommunityWins (Working/Investing in Neighborhood Stabilization) will be awarding $3 million over three years to nonprofits that address neighborhood stabilization, economic development, and/or job creation, with the goal to promote long-term economic prosperity and quality of life for communities.

Rathmann Family Foundation
2017 Rathmann Challenge
Deadline: March 29, 2017

As a part of the Rathmann Challenge, the Rathmann Family Foundation is looking to award up to $300,000 for ideas that significantly expand the use of compost in the United States in an effort to mitigate climate change. Ideal recipients have a proven track record of implementing successful programs.
