Looking to take your career to the next level? GCN national legislative partner Independent Sector is accepting applications for their American Express NGen Fellows program, a year-long leadership development program.


The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta
Nonprofit Scholarships
Deadline: Rolling
Nonprofit professionals may apply for scholarships through The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta to cover the cost of trainings, workshops and conferences for selected program. GCN's Nonprofit University has many selections that are available at no cost through these scholarships.

Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District
The Great Plumbing Fixture Giveaway
Deadline: April 30, 2015
The Metro Water District is partnering with sponsors to give away $1,000 in new plumbing fixtures to a winning nonprofit organization in the 15-county metro water district area.

The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta
Strategic Restructuring Fund
Deadline: June 12, 2015
The purpose of the Strategic Restructuring Fund is to provide funds and/or management consulting services to support nonprofits as they assess, negotiate, design and/or implement substantive strategic restructuring efforts that seek to promote more effective operations and high-performing programs based on community needs and assets.

The Home Depot Foundation
Veteran Housing Grants
Deadline: June 23, 2015
The Home Depot Foundation’s (THDF) Veteran Housing Grants Program awards grants to nonprofit organizations for the development and repair of veterans housing. To date, the Foundation has awarded nearly $80 million, and has helped impact over 12,000 units of housing for veterans. Awards typically range from $100,000 to $500,000.

Community Impact Grants
Deadline: Rolling
Grants, up to $5,000, are available to IRS-registered 501c designated organizations and tax-exempt public service agencies in the U.S. that are using the power of volunteers to improve the physical health of their community. Grants are given in the form of The Home Depot gift cards for the purchase of tools, materials, or services.
