GCN’s Nonprofit University is proud to be Georgia’s learning solution for building stronger nonprofits. Naturally, that pride extends to our dedicated instructors who allow us to tap into their expertise to deliver a rich curriculum —from fundraising to board development to strategic planning— that helps nonprofits strive toward higher-performance and maximum impact.

In recognition of a job well done, we recently convened our expert facilitators for a celebratory breakfast and a look ahead to the start of an exciting new year of training. Chris Allers, GCN Executive Vice President of Programs, led the group through a thoughtful assessment of past performance and ways to build upon Nonprofit University’s successful track record of delivering high-quality, results-based training to Georgia’s nonprofit sector.

With the help of our experienced instructors, we were able to deliver more than 100 classes to professionals at all levels of experience at over 350 nonprofits throughout the state. Our curriculum is developed and taught by nonprofit and business leaders, content experts and educators who are passionate about sharing their real-world experience through an innovative and challenging approach to learning.

A familiar face at Nonprofit University, Yvonne Bryant Johnson has coached hundreds of nonprofit professionals with a self-described “passion for helping teach leaders to be the best they can be.”
