The first of five cohorts comprising Leading for Impact—Atlanta (LFI) celebrated the first major milestone of the program on Wednesday, June 18, with the completion of the time-intensive strategic management curriculum and their first customized organizational project.

Starting up this spring, 44 nonprofit arts organizations from across the state are taking part in Momentum initiatives now underway in in Albany, Augusta, Macon, and Savannah. GCN’s transformative multi-year process, designed to help nonprofits build strategy and leadership that leads them to higher impact in their communities.

On Thursday, May 1, GCN ushered in the Spring season proper with a special event at The Fox Theatre, welcoming nonprofit professionals from across Atlanta. More than 250 attendees met with foundation representatives and other grantmakers like the Georgia Council for the Arts, nonprofit service vendors like Bloomerang and BDO, and keynote presenter Tim Halloran, author of Romancing the Brand: How Brands Create Strong, Intimate Relationships with Consumers.
